Fun fact: when we opened in the early ‘80s, we were actually the first non-smoking restaurant in the city and featured Starbucks coffee which was a small coffee roaster roasting their beans in a garage in the Magnolia neighborhood!

Julia's practices an extensive recycling program, with 90% of our waste going to food-composting and recycling. We were honored by the mayor of Seattle as a small business for our exemplary recycling efforts.
